Final Soundtrack

Here i have used ABC software to create a soundtrack. I tried to create a repetitive sound reminiscent to Gorgio Moroder referenced earlier in the blog. I have decided to use the "piano effect" and feel it fits extremely well with the animation.

Final Credit Sequence

Final credit sequence made in Adobe Flash. Again, i wanted the words in the title to be typed out as if the viewer is looking at someone typing on a computer screen.

Final Loading Sequence

Final loading sequence made in Adobe Flash. I wanted the words in the title to be typed out as if the viewer is looking at someone typing on a computer screen. I used three underscores at the end of the word loading in order to make it look as if the game is loading.

Final Main Sequence

Final main sequence made in Adobe Flash. Here i wanted to show the character in various motions while travelling through a level of a game collecting items. In order to create the look of the screen moving as the character moves, the character had to be placed in the same keyframe as the game level so that they could be moved as one. This creates the appearance that the next frame of the screen is loading and is reminiscent of an old computer that is slow at loading graphics.

Storyboard

Here i have indicated the characters journey through the game level using a red line.

The red dots indicate where the collectable item will be found.

Here is the collectable item.

Final Title Sequence

Final title sequence made in Adobe Flash. Here i wanted the words in the title to be typed out as if the viewer is looking at someone typing on a computer screen. I made each letter individually to create a pixelated font and to make it look as if the person typing is using an old style computer with pixelated graphics.

Final Game Level Design

Here is my final game level design. I wanted the design to be simple in style to create an old style appearance. I wanted to create a number of different sections to the game level to show the range of motions the character is capable of.

Final Character Design

Here is my final character in the two poses which are needed to make it appear as if the character is moving. The character evolved from the previous rough sketches when i began using Adobe Flash to make the character and thought of new ways that it could look and what look would work best when thinking about how the character would move.

Character And Game Level Design

Here i have done rough sketches of character and game level designs.
